WordPress Developer (m/f/d) Remote/Fixed-Term Contract

As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for transforming our approved Figma designs into a modern, responsive, and high-performing WordPress website. You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure the final product meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and usability. 

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CEST 
Employment Type: Full-time (Fixed-Term Contract) 
Start Date: As soon as possible 
Salary: Competitive, paid in PKR 
Required Experience: 4+ years (hands-on WordPress development)

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate new Figma designs into our existing WordPress website.

• Develop pixel-perfect, responsive pages that accurately reflect the approved designs.

• Customize existing WordPress themes or develop custom components where required.

• Ensure compatibility across modern browsers and devices.

• Optimize website performance, loading speed, and Core Web Vitals.

• Implement SEO best practices during development.

• Improve website accessibility and overall user experience.

• Test, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs before deployment.

• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

• Collaborate with designers and other developers throughout the project lifecycle.

• 4+ years of professional WordPress development experience.

• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.

• Proven experience converting Figma designs into WordPress websites.

• Experience with custom WordPress theme development and customization.

• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.

• Experience optimizing WordPress websites for performance and SEO.

• Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Gutenberg, or Elementor is an advantage.

• Experience using Git or other version control systems.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team.
