QA Engineer (m/f/d) Remote/Fixed-Term Contract

As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our logistics platform. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and designers to identify issues early, validate new features, and ensure that every release meets our quality standards.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CEST

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.

• Validate new features before release and verify bug fixes.

• Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release testing.

• Ensure applications meet quality, usability, and performance expectations.

• Contribute to improving QA processes and testing standards.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of automated testing where applicable.

• 4+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

• Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.

• Basic understanding of SQL and databases.

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) is a strong advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team.
